Our peaceful and very private Cold Springs facility is located above Napa Valley in Angwin, California. It is a beautiful, Tudor-style mansion located on 20 acres of forest about 4 miles from St. Helena hospital. We accommodate no more than six patients at a time in spacious and high quality private rooms. Each day, our chefs provide 3 healthy and well-balanced organic meals plus 3 snacks. Our menus have been supervised by our naturopathic doctor to provide maximum nutrition while being anti-inflammatory and delicious. At Cold Springs we provide all residential services including gym, aquatic therapy, chemical dependency, massage, exercise, psychotherapy, seminars, readings, stress management, work simplification, body mechanics, cognitive-behavioral treatment, art therapy, and family support education. All weekly medical evaluations and treatments are conducted at our medical director’s offices in nearby St. Helena. Cold Springs is a separately licensed non-medical residential facility.
Cold Springs has its own apple orchard and organic garden for our kitchen. There are many walking trails available for those patients who are capable of walking without difficulty. Our forested grounds have several vineyards on each side and abundant wildlife nearby. We sometimes see wild turkeys, deer, quail, and many species of bird, most commonly the Stellar Jay.
